2013 Goals

...or more like a to-do list

1) Complete the LA Marathon in March, injury-free (FAILED)
2) Run a 1:45 half marathon (current PR 1:48)      Done! 1/12/13 Polar Dash Half
3) Run a sub 23min 5k  Done! 1/20/13 Midwinter Cruise 5k
4) Do a night run/race
5) go vegetarian for 2 weeks
6) run a sub-48min 10k
7) Run a race in Canada!
8) pay off my credit card
9) do a Halloween race & dress up :)
10) Run 1400+ miles in 2013
11) Participate in a mud run
12) attempt a duathlon or sprint tri
13) raise $500 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation
14) Complete 21 races before turning 21 (may 21 2013) Golden Birthday :) nvm, too broke :(
15) Run a marathon faster than Sarah Palin (Sub 4 hours) lol
16) Eventually rename this blog... I never actually "named" it. It was more of a heading and it stuck. haha  done!

17) run a 5k with my dad
18) Tone up and lose a couple more pounds
      -Lose 5 pounds by end of January (Joined the Run Your A$$ Off Challenge Dec 31-Jan 28) done!

19) Cross-train at least once a week (I suck at cross-training) Keep accountable on Dailymile
20) Attend a cooking class
21) Try out yoga at the gym
22) Try out indoor cycling tried it! Loved it! 1/28/13
23) Run a Half Marathon at a sub-8 overall pace (sub 1:44.30)   Done! 1/26/13 f^3 Half Marathon

Update 1/28/13 - by the end of 2013...
24) Run a 1:40 Half Marathon (sub 7:42pace)
25) Sub-22min 5k (7:05 pace)
26) Finish one cycle of Insanity/Asylum/p90x

  • 21:41 5k (~6:59pace)
  • Get A's and B's this semester   BAM! Straight A's for Spring 2013
